DGP is supporting MetroTas in improvement to its Crisis Management Capability
DGP is supporting the Tasmania Office of Security and Emergency Management (OSEM) DPAC in reviewing its “Mitigation of Natural Hazards through Land Use Planning and Building Control – Principles and Guidelines” Darryl Glover was recently engaged by the Tasmanian State Emergency Service to prepare the Tasmania Emergency Risk Assessment Guidelines and tools for use by Tasmanian emergency management committees. These guidelines and tools are available at Tasmania Emergency Risk Assessment Guidelines (TERAG) and tool kit Darryl is a “reviewer and contributor” to the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction, “Words into Action; National Disaster Risk Assessment” guide. In 2015/16 he spent 12 months embedded in the Policy Coordination branch of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) of Mongolia, supporting the Agency and National Government in their adoption and implementation of the 2015 Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction |
